If you are new to networking and just can’t figure out where to begin, this is the book for you. It goes into almost everything that you might want to know. To what depth it goes into them, I don’t know, I’m not a networking expert. But I can tell you that I’ve wasted a lot of time reading other books without getting a grasp of networking as a whole. This book will do it for you if you are new to the field.

One other feature that some might like, I know I liked it, is that almost a third of the book, deals with setting up and administering, win2k, novell netware and linux. This is the last part of the book after hallberg finishes with explaining networking.

It is one of the easiest reads in my experience, and I bet most of you will finish the first half on a saturday morning and use the second half of the book on sunday as you setup the NOS of your choice. Get the book, if you are a newbie like me.

I hope BH will start working on “Networking: A Professional’s Guide”

I loved this book! I learned a lot about the circus, mostly behind the scenes information that you don’t think about from the stands. I thought it was a delightful story and absolutely loved the ending!

Very good product. I have a long history with good experience with that product line.

If you have a new Canon IS1400, you may find some compatibility issues, unless the card is defective in a weird way (unlikely).

Anytime I am bombarded with “You HAVE to read this!”- I am often skeptical. Typically, these books will turn out to be sappy love stories or trite stories with annoying self-help undertones. The Help is neither. Instead, this novel is compelling, well-written, and should be regarded as a contemporary stalwart of “Southern” literature.

This intricately written novel is set in the 1960s in Jackson, Mississippi. The Help focuses on the lives of several young women, their hired “help” and the racial lines that exist. The relationships between the women and their housekeepers vary, and Stockett explores the complexities inherent in these relationships, as well as those between the friends, the friends and their families, children, etc. I found the three narrators to be uniquely written and their voices resonate well throughout their respective chapters.

If you liked Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, then this is a sure thing for you. For once, I’m glad to have had a recommended book be a good one!

I found this book in a dusty little corner of my local used bookstore (yes, they do still exist) and was intrigued by the title and premise. A few months later I have now read the entire trilogy and must say it really speaks directly to the soul, bypassing all the mental gatekeeping we humans come up with to deny ourselves direct contact with the source of our being. I’m not one of those folks who think that all religions are only in the business of building their own power by feeding gullible minds with fear and judgment — there are certainly very enlightened folks with open hearts and minds within organized religion. Yet, I’ve always been skeptical of the ones who try to tell you that their views are absolute and threaten you if you choose a different vehicle to find love and meaning in life. It’s just too obvious that anyone who tries to tell you that God is vengeful or would exclude some of us is just insecure in themselves. As Michael Franti says: “God is too big for just one nation, and God is too big for just one religion.” Yell Fire!

What tells me that Neale Donald Walsch has really tapped into the essence of God is that the books read as refreshingly and truthfully in 2009 as they must have when they first came out in the mid-90s. This phenomenon in itself is discussed in the book — the fact that God really is timeless and nameless. Too often we’re stuck in the dualistic mechanisms of our mind that tells us to divide everything — yesterday versus tomorrow, us versus them, believers vs non-believers. In that very same mindset we also like to look at “God” as a particular thing or person, something we can imagine or portray with our thoughts. And too often, religious texts create the same kind of hierarchy of spirit that we assign to our social structures on earth. For example, looking at God as “The Father” is a very common image conjured by a patriarchic mindset, as if there’s some sort of a guy sitting somewhere up there wagging his imaginary finger at

I have been very happy with this product. I have used it for running and biking and it works as advertised. I also took it on a recent trip back east and I loved being able to do a run anywhere and know accurately the distance and pace. I love all the stats it gathers and download to my Mac works great. I am preparing for a half marathon and I am finding it an invaluable tool for my training.

Easy to set up and use, nice features, but they should have manufactured it with better quality. I’ve had this less than a week and several times I found the unit dangling from its safety leash having slipped out of its clip. Now the clip itself is gone. There’s a little flexible cover over a connector on the top of the unit that is also gone. I don’t think it takes a rocket scientist to design a sturdy clip – I don’t know why they didn’t bother to do this.

This is an amazing tool for grooming our dog, and cats too! We just adjust the pressure on the different pets – labrador retriever, short hair cat and long hair cat. The pets seem to really like it and they look great afterward. The amount of loose fur that comes off was a surprise to me even after reading so many reviews.
