Knowing full well that the Froth `n Sauce was a machine to make thick “whipped cream like” foam for beverages, and that I was strictly a black coffee drinker, I ordered the machine anyway. I thought it would be fun to take non-fat milk with a little syrup or powdered chocolate, and spoon my way to snack heaven without the guilt. The Froth `n Sauce exceeded my expectations in this area. The thickness of the froth (flavored or not) is not to be believed. I’ve never seen anything so thick and stable, and that includes all of the fancy coffee stores charging so much money for Lattes and Cappuccinos. I can understand why folks keep this machine on their kitchen counters for daily use. The main reason why I purchased Froth `n Sauce was the “sauce” part, and it is awesome in this department. What completely blew me away was a complete surprise. I took a Crème Brulee recipe from a cookbook and decided to play! I mixed all of the ingredients and poured the mixture through a fine strainer, directly into the Froth `n Sauce. Crème Brulee is normally baked in dishes that go into a water bath, or it can be cooked on top of the stove with careful and constant stirring to avoid scorching. Using the Froth `n Sauce, I pushed a single button and that was it! If the manufacturer of this machine changed the name of Froth n’ Sauce to a Crème Brulee or Pots de Creme maker, they would not be able to keep these machines on the shelves. Yesterday would you believe that I made PEANUT BUTTER Crème Brulee? Ummmazing!

Having saved for this Kindle, seeing as living in Europe makes it rather expensive, I must admit that it lives up to my expectations, and then some. It is as easy as 1,2,3 to use the wispernet to purchase books. It is an absolute delight to read on. As many others, it does seem like I read faster. I bought this for the sole purpose of reading, so it does not bother me that some of the more advanced pdf files cannot be read; though most pdf are excellent in grey-scale.
If you are considering whether or not to purchase, then take into account that this is NOT an iPad, you cannot browse the web and watch movies. And who cares? I have a smartphone, as well as several computers to accommodate those needs. Kindle is for reading, and it is king in that aspect. You will love it.
Remember that to get an clip-on light if you plan to read in less than daylight or under artificial illumination. It is not a back-lit screen, so do not demand that of your kindle. I bought Mighty Bright XtraFlex2 Clip-On Light (Black, Kindle Version) and I am very satisfied with it. Kindle does excellent in sunlight.
You might also want to think about some kind of protection. I bought a Belkin Neoprene Kindle Case (Fits 6″ Display, Latest Generation Kindle) [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging], and it is a delight to carry around.
I purchased this to replace a non-digital scale. With my old scale, all it took was leaning a certain way and I could change the weight displayed. With this EatSmart Scale, that is not an issue. Very accurate and will display same weight repeatedly.
The scale is not bulky and looks stylish. The price is perfect and affordable for an accurate digital scale (that doesnt look like your grandma’s scale.)
Definitely recommend this scale.

First, I think the most important thing in purchasing a new rack for your bike is to VISIT A LOCAL BIKE SHOP and let someone show you which type you will need. That eliminates almost all of your battles when it finally arrives in the mail, all packaged up new! From there, it was easy street for me. I am a single woman and not necessarily mechanically inclined, but I was able to do it on my own in less than an hour. The instructions weren’t very helpful, so I had to figure it out on my own. I did have to make a minor adjustment by replacing the bolt at the neck of my frame with another one (that I just happened to have in my toolbox). The total cost saved me $20 or more (with free shipping), it looks great on my pink Schwinn cruiser, and ordering was no-hassel. Love it!

I was dithering between buying an iPad and a Kindle, and I eventually decided on the Kindle because the iPad does way more than I need (and I already have a laptop and a netbook). I researched all the other e-books, and though I liked the Sony, I was swayed by the immediacy of the Kindle–not having to hook it up to my computer was a huge bonus. When the Kindle arrived, I was initially surprised by how small and low tech it is. The jury was definitely out for a few days. I’ve now decided in its favour: I love it (and for the exact reasons I was initially hesitant). I like how small the screen is because I can take in a page very quickly–it’s good for a particular kind of reading: I use it for non-fiction and only use it for fiction if it’s a trashy book, and I want to skim. I don’t use it for fiction I want to read carefully or for poetry. I also like its low-tech quality because it’s more like a book: I’m not constantly checking my e-mail or googling something from the book; I just read. That said, my favourite thing about the Kindle is that I can browse through the Kindle store anywhere, upload a sample chapter from a few books, read them, and then decide which one I want to buy. It kind of recreates the bookstore-browsing experience, but you can do it anywhere.
The downside is that you can’t read it in the bath. Also, if you download your own documents, articles, or e-books, you can’t increase the font size.
The other downside is that the price dropped sixty bucks three weeks after I purchased it.

I was reluctant to use Facebook but this book shows the powerful and wonderful possibilities. The 25 stories are diverse and span the range of heartwarming romance, to political efforts of the Obama administration to gain voters. And the interview with Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook founder and CEO) is inspiring.
Emily Liebert truly captured the spirit of each person interviewed. This is a great book that every user of social media should buy.

If you’re prepared to deal with this drive’s somewhat quirky way of operating (showing up as multiple devices when connected etc.) then it’s actually a very nice product. I’ve been using it for a few weeks with no problems, and the tiny form factor is really nice as it is significantly smaller that the previous generation of portable drives (due I think to the USB interface being integrated into the drive itself so there are no additional electronics required in the case).
A good choice if you know what you’re doing. Probably not so great for the less savvy user.
WD made an attempt with this device’s software to offer solutions to some of the problems people have with similar drives, and they are relatively successful if you’re willing to do things their way. If not, then you can update the firmware and configure it to operate like an ordinary dumb drive, and it works fine either way.
The software can be annoying at times, but the hardware is top rate.

We had another that we paid a lot for and we had lots of trouble with it. We’ve had this one for over 2 years and have not had a single problem. It’s such a good product that we are about to buy another to take with us one vacation for our game consoles.
