I bought this when there was an offer for an upgrade to 2010. Some of the reviewers claimed to have gotten it, but I did not. Nor can I find any good place to ask Amazon about it. I used to really like Amazon. The customer service is really not as good as it once was.
The product itself is typical Microsoft fare. You’d do better to stick with Open Office for free if you can help it.
Tripp Lite Internet Office
This has to be the best brush I have ever used on dogs, we have a Golden Retriever and this brush removed out enough old dead hair from our Golden to fill a plastic shopping bag, and this was after we had brushed him with our old stand-by brush. The dog loves it, he comes running to be brushed when he sees it in your hand, never did that before we purchased this brush. Recommend this to everyone with a pet
Classic Straight USB Cable
I purchased this friction mount for my Garmin Nuvi 1390T GPS. It does not have a rubber base like the older friction mounts used for my Garmin StreetPilot C330, so I expected some sliding on the dash as I drove. However that expectation proved to be unfounded as this friction mount stayed in place (keep in mind that I do not travel “off road”.) There is not much more that I can add that has not been stated by other reviewers. I am happy with the purchase and feel that the price paid was very reasonable.

If you’re looking for advice on a gaming system, I’ll tell you what a teenager told us. If you’re looking to buy for a younger child, say over 5 but younger than 14, then get the Wii. But, if you’re buying for a teenager, then they’re looking into the Xbox. So, there you have it, from the lips of a teen. So, off we went to get the Wii since we old folks could work out with it as well. It has been the best investment! We can use it with the Wii Sports, and the kids get to have a blast with it with the games. It’s so easy to use, the setup is easy (an 8-year-old did ours), and well, it’s just been a marvelous addition to the gametime in this house. A word of caution, however, be SURE you read the directions. There are warnings enclosed that state things like “Don’t play longer than 45 minutes at a time.” The Wii can cause seizures in people so be sure you pay attention to that stuff. Other than that, it’s great. Highly recommend!
Polo Meets a Friend
No kidding it really works. We love it. Cut the vacuuming in half. we have a Benji mutt, sheds like crazy all year round. We vacuum sometimes twice a day it was so bad. This has really helped. First time we used it, looked like he had a hair cut, a whole bag full of hair. Told everyone I know who has a pet. I would buy it again if something happen to this one.
BABY WIPES LIGHTLY SCENTED
The router works great with my wireless laptop and my XP desktop, but I have still not been able to get connected to my Vista desktop. Got registered on SMC website and sent them an email asking about the set up with Vista. Never got a response. After 2 days, I called the support number, where a guy I had trouble understanding(sounded like a cell phone outside in the wind) asked me all the same questions that I already answered when I registered on their site. As soon as I mentioned Vista, he said I needed to call Dell. Now, I will admit, that it probably is a configuration or other issue with Vista (and I have yet to figure out what that is), but my feeling is that they should be able to provide the instructions required to do the configuration. If they are going to stand behind the product, then I’m sure that they would have tested it against multiple operating systems and hardware. I’ll work on it this weekend some more. If I do not get it working, I’ll just send it back. Update: I finally gave up! I also left them two detailed emails on their support website, and they never even bothered responding to either one!
SMC SMCWGBR14 N Barricade
As of today, Tuesday, 24 August 2010, I have not received the kindle. I am disappointed in the time it took to place the order in July 2010 and the estimated delivery date of 10 Sep 2010. There is no way, I can provide a fair rating on a product I have not received. This constitutes POOR business when a new customer purchased an item, paid in full and have not received the product.
This is totally unsat.
When my mother sent this book to me I did not think would enjoy it. After the first few pages I was hooked. What a truly enjoyable read.
