It is improved over earlier versions. I demo-ed my friend’s same model, but older version. It does take about 30 seconds to find a sattelite, so I take mine off and put it on the ground and do a few streaches while waiting and then I’m ready to run! here is a tip- you can share your run data on facebook like this: when you are on Garmin Connect website, you will see a share button under your run map, then right click on it. You will see “accelerators”. Click on that, then choose facebook and it will prompt you to log onto facebook and then your run will post. Not super-easy right now, but do-able.
I’ve run streets and trails and so far, no dropped signal.

Beautiful, amazing, soulful, witty, sad, touching, real (not literally)… Actually, I can’t find the words to describe the book, but it is great and definitely a must read. 2 things I noticed aside from the story itself that I love about Kathryn Stockett’s writing (and I only mention these two because I’m sure the other reviewers have already raved about all her other great qualities):

1. She so perfectly describes the physical aspects of any situation where characters interact, especially body language and facial expressions. I found myself thinking, “I never realized people make that face when they feel that way, but she nailed it!” For example, she describes Skeeter’s mother driving away from the house in the car that Skeeter needed right away, and the mother stops briefly, starts driving again, then stops again and finally pulls up to the house. The mother says she forgot something and remembered it on her way towards the road (they have a long driveway). I just thought it was such a perfect description of how people really act when they forget something. “Aww, man! Ahhh, forget it! Nah, I really better go back and get it.

2. Related to the first, she has a good way of linking body language, facial expression and physical action to tell us what people are really thinking or intending.

READ THIS BOOK!!
Carter s Baby Boy

I love it. It has an amazing battery life and is perfectly readable in direct sunlight, unlike other “reading” devices.

I recently took this on a vacation to Mexico and was able to download books wirelessly over the 3G network. It was massively convenient.
What to Eat When

I got it. it works great. VERY accurate. Has a little clock on it but could really use a stopwatch timer. Also,a way to measure several walks in a day instead of adding it all together for one day.
Disney Princess Light Up

Don’t get me wrong. I love my Garmin 305 Forerunner, but I bought it instead of the 205 for the HRM. It’s SOOOOOOOOOOOOO tiny that it’s almost impossible to see, even standing still, let alone running.

I have been shopping for a new bathroom scale and have purchased and returned several. This scale right from the start was great. It has been so accurate from the very start which was not the case with all the other scales I tried most more expensive than this one. I would recommend this scale to anyone who is looking for the last scale they will ever have to buy.

I saved and scrimped but it was worth it.
Very nice tv but as with any tv of this type you NEED a sound system.

I simply could not find sz 6 Pamper Cruisers in the stores in the large boxes. Amazon’s quantity and free shipping is so convenient. My order arrived speedily too.

I’ve had this printer for over 6 months now and I’ve been really happy with it. Never had any problems setting up the wireless connection or getting it to print on a laptop (with Vista, no less!). Scan and copy features also work well – I like that I can scan to file or email. Faxing is also easy to setup and use – the 10 page memory and auto-redial is nice so I don’t have to keep checking on it. I’ve only done 1 photo print but it was really crisp and clean…looked like a picture processed at a KODAK stand.
