I was a little concerned at first. Wasn’t sure how I would like the Kindle experience? Is there enough books to choose from available to Australians? Is it expensive? Is it difficult?…..
I just LOVE my Kindle. I can’t believe how light and thin it is.
No More Heavy Books – I no longer have to lug heavy books with me on holiday and if I run out I download more.
No New Bookshelves – I no longer have to think about buying more book shelves to house my reading collection.
FREE FOREVER 3G wireless download in Australia…brilliant! Download a book in 60 seconds.
A paper like experience – Can read Kindle in full sunlight, and as it is not backlit like a computer there is no eye strain. I love the option to change the font size and look up words in the dictionary. I occasionally forget I am not reading a printed book and go to physically turn the page.
Reading in bed – is so more comfortable, no big movement to change the page, or having to hold a heavy book at a strange unbalanced angle because you are very nearly at the end.
Reading at the Gym – no more tyring to get a thick book to balance on your workout machine, or try to turn pages with sweaty fingers…the Kindle is soo light and slim, it perches on the stand perfectly and only requires a light touch to turn the page. Makes working out a little less painful.
Always have something to read – Light enough to carry around in my handbag, so I always have something to do if I am kept waiting. In the attractive leather cover it looks like a slim diary.
Getting a Manicure – Now something I am sure even Amazon didn’t think of as a benefit….getting your nails done- you can’t turn the pages on a book or a magazine while you wait for your new manicure to dry(boring), but you can read your Kindle.
Range – Fantastic 340,000 books to choose from at last count for Australian residents. Are there some books I want that are missing…yes, but they (like others I have wanted previously) will turn up o

“Wow!” says it all. I researched into the various Reading Devices available, and I’ve seen them physically, and I know that I made the right choice. I read quite a lot, and I am very pleased with the selection and price that the Kindle makes available. The e-paper is fantastic–it’s easy to read from, and the graphics are better than I was expecting. I was amazed at how many free and inexpensive books were available, many of which would be hard to find in print. The Web access is beneficial, especially Wikipedia, and the onboard dictionary definitions at the bottom are very helpful. It’s light, thin, and I used it for nearly a month without recharging the battery. The money I will save on new books pays for itself on this device, and honestly, aside from being afraid of the initial investment, I can’t think of a negative thing about a Kindle. My co-worker loves his as well, and everyone who has seen it has been impressed. I’m sure I’m not alone in pointing out that a Kindle owner is also a Kindle salesman–more than once I have demonstrated for interested people.

I bought this for my mom as a gift. She walks quite a bit every day. She really, really likes this pedometer. She had used other ones previously that turned out to not be very accurate & would break. This one is still working great after a couple months, & is user friendly. It clips on securely & seems to be very accurate whether it’s clipped onto you or lying in your purse. It also has a clock on it, which is very convenient. This pedometer seemed to be the best value after looking at many different models. Good brand too.

Good quality build and it keeps accurate track of my steps. What more could you ask for.

The nice thing about this book is that its full of humour and action, but not the standard knights in shining armor on a battlefield kind of action as it is with most fantasy books. While the latter is fun to read as well, it is nice to get a break from those epic type fantasies, and that is exactly what Artemis Fowl delivers, albiet in a more teen friendly way.
An interesting storyline combined with good humor and a very interesting main character makes this a great read for teens.

HDMI cables are built to a certain standard otherwise they are not HDMI cables, simple. They carry digtal information so they either work 100% or they do not. This cable works great and it was inexpensive, recommended.
