I recently gave my Son a Garmin for his BDay. I was told that the mounting device was a must. I thought I would give it a try. He called me and said the Garmin was great and the mount works fantasic. Thanks amazon for the tip.

I am impressed with this cleaner.
I have just used it again today after a few months since the last use. And I realized I had not left a review for the Hoover Steamvac that I had purchased from Amazon. And I feel strongly enough about it that it deserves a positive review.
The Hoover SteamVac cleans great. It is easy to use and isn’t hard to push or pull, and I have arthritis in my shoulder and my knees.
The assembly of this machine is easy and didn’t take long.
I recommend reading the manual thoroughly and follow directions carefully and learn about this cleaner.
If you do that I don’t see how there will be any hitches.
I find this machine is efficient, my carpet looks bright and clean again today, this is great in high traffic areas, and we have a cream colored carpet, so you know it shows up dirt and spots quickly. The Hoover steamvac pretty much deals with that. I can’t believe how bad our carpet was, I just emptied 3 canisters of dirty water, but it was well worth it.
I feel that I won’t be embarrassed if anyone visited me right now as my carpet looks great.
How to USE: I recommend pushing the cleaner slowly but surely and evenly, the slower you go the more the spin brushes can do their job, and on the pull back the water gets sucked up more efficiently and the carpet will be drier.
I like the fact you can see the water being sucked up and you can tell when there is no more moisture to suck up and so you can move to another strip of carpet. I find the carpet dries quickly.
When you walk forward you squeeze the trigger to release the water/solution, then let go of the trigger and pull back the steamvac over the same strip of carpet, on the bull back the cleaner sucks up the water from the carpet. You can move the cleaner forward again without squeezing the trigger and pull back the cleaner again so as to suck up more of the moisture. And when it seems majority of moisture has been sucked up, you can move over to the ne

Reading this book for the first time in my 40’s has reminded me how strong the sense of insecurity and how potentially wide the gap between innocence and growing up can seem to be to a young person. The protagonist is a misfit, is at the brink of his adulthood, senses he is about to lose something unique as he leaves his childhood world for good but is not sure what and flails wildly in his attempt to grasp what life is about. I started off disliking the book: the language, the events happening to him, his reactions to those events. But before I reached half-way through the book, I felt sorry for the boy, who came across as sensitive and scared. Three-quarter of the book, I worried for him and wondered if there’s light at the end of his tunnel. By the time I finished reading the book, I thought it a tale told by an idiot, full of sound of fury. Of course it does not compare with Macbeth or Hamlet, but it is none the less a tragically realistic story, touchingly told by an honest and eloquent idiot. (It does remind me of Mark Haddon’s THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME, except the ailment here is depression and not autism. So if you like THE CURIOUS INCIDENT, you will probably like THE CATCHER.)
I think it is a good story told by a good story-teller. It is both a period piece and timeless: Deciphering the American slangs in vogue during that time period has slowed down my reading quite a bit, yet the story is one that can, and probably does, happen in any country through out history. It is an interesting read only if the reader will not be depressed by narratives from a troubled mind.

Total junk. On the second use it sucked in a string and in a few seconds ruined the beater bar. The “bearings” on the ends of the beater bar, well there aren’t any. It is just plastic. I couldn’t believe how quickly it burnt out the unit. Don’t buy this unit!! Can I give it zero stars? That’s what it deserves.

I thought this book was wonderful! I loved the way the author juxtaposes the young Jacob with the older Jacob; such a method has the potential to be jerky or awkward, but the transitions are smooth and the reader can easily manage to keep up with both storylines.
Gruen is a skilled storyteller, I was caught from the first page and couldn’t put the book down. I love when a book does that, and makes me both happy and sad, and this book does both of these things at various points. The most emotional aspect of the book for me was how Jacob felt about being in a nursing home, his frustration at having a “young” mind in an older body, and being treated as though he’s senile by the nursing home staff as well as his own family. This happens a lot in our culture, we tend to pack away the old because we don’t want to be reminded of what we will be one day. Wonderful, wonderful. 5 stars.

If you are only starting your trek into the world of serious coffee appreciation, then I highly suggest you, without haste, purchase one pound at least of whole bean JBM. Also a good grinder, a temperature controlled machine and a decent water filtration system. Pre-ground takes much of the flavor away, compaired to properly done fresh home ground coffee, and coffee is lessened without being prepaired at the correct temperature of filtered water.
But why something so expensive? Why jump in to the deep end of the pool before even getting your feet wet?
Some may scoff, saying that only a true coffee fanatic would understand or be able to appreciate this blend. That is entirely true. But how can anyone really understand without first having tasted the standard by which all others must be judged?
Thus why this review is only four out of five stars. You see, JBM is so subtle, so complex, that a new tounge will not notice what makes JBM quite so wonderful.
It is a “perfectly” blended coffee. Flavor, bitterness, acidity and aftertaste. On a scale of one to ten, they all rank dead even at five. Every other coffee is like a exaggeration of this hard to get bean.
This should be the first coffee to ever cross the lips of anyone who wants to learn these things. How else can you truely understand the other blends?
