I really didn’t expect alot from this machine, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. The major test was actually removing all the little short hairs my very big dog leaves embedded in the rugs. Dark rugs and blond dogs are not a good mix. It does need the bags changed frequently..The bags are a little small, but it also picks up stuff better than the bagless machine I have. I recommended ordering the extra bags at the same time. I like this vacuum..I hope it lasts a while.

I was excited to finally find an atractive blue-ray player that has build in wifi along with netflix and everything else, I saw that this player received CNET’s choice award so I was sold. Anyways, got mine quicky straight from Amazon…hooked up via HDMI to my Samsung 1080p Plasma, updated the LG via ethernet cable and it was nice and running, so far so good. So I start watching some bluerays and what a disappointment! I had a Playstation 3 doing the job before this, and the LG falls very short compared to it. First The LG picture quality has a lot of grain on blueray movies, the only movie that look great was avatar everything else look very grainy, planet earth look good most of the time but suffer from flickering which my PS3 never did. I noticed the LG had a sharpness adjuster which I moved around, it got rid of the grains but it soften the picture too much making it look less HD.
The DVD upscaler is also poor, after watching the matrix, and some other regular DVDs it look blurry, grainy, washed out. The xbox 360 andmy old Sony Upscale DVD player looks so much better. Then came netflix, which I had a Roku player before this, terrible! The navigation is slow and glitchy, but the thing that killed it was the playback quality. It will start to play looking good and then it will downshift resolution to where you saw pixels and then it came back up again, the Roku never had such a problem! I’m using AT&T Uverse Max 1 turbo too! I placed my Roku back via wifi and it played awesome.
Pandora, youtube, and everything else was decent. The CD ripoff option to the hard drive is pretty dead compared to my apple tv or PS3, its very slow and the menus look lame. Overall this player just plain sucked, I don’t know why it got so many good reviews I returned it and bought a PS3 Slim for $18.00 less than this, does everything minus pandora and vodu but the picture quality and menus, netflix, CD ripping are way better than this.
LG BD590 250GB HD

This machine does a good job, has good suction action. It is a bit laborsome to clean but worth it.

I’ve had my pedometer for almost 2 months now and I love it. It works great. easy to use and has everything you need, 7 day memory, long battery life, distance walked, and strap and case. It is also very durable. I try to keep track of my steps every day. Only one warnings, if you’re a runner the distance won’t be actuate because your strides are longer.

The Omron Digital pedometer is very helpful as a step counter, however it does seem to count a few more steps than I actually have taken. (It sort of has a hair trigger.) I like the pocket use as I tend to have the pedometers slip off my waistband when I am bending over.
