I bought this air filter after my old one (same brand)started running hot and I was afraid to use it (had it running almost 24 hours a day for about 4 years). This one is smaller than my old one but works just as great. It’s in a room with two shedding rabbits and it really gets the fur that floats around the room. I just vacuum the charcoal filters twice a week to get the fur that collects on them. The lowest setting runs nice and quiet and is a nice background white noise.

We have a part lab/part beagle with lab fur. The FURminator removes tons of the undercoat fur. She just sits there with half-closed eyes until we’re through. It was definitely worth the $30. We have much less hair in the house now.
