I’ve only used this mount a couple of times so far but am extremly happy with product so far. I put it on the left side of the dash in my Prius where it is out of the way and doesn’t block my view. So far it has stayed in place and doesn’t move. I can put the mount with garmin 1490t attached in the center counsole to keep out of sight when car is parked. No rings on windshield from windshield mount (dead giveaway to thieves) and don’t have to keep taking off and putting on windshield mount. Would buy again from retailer who delivered when promised.

Forty minutes ago, I got a real shock. My bare foot bumped into this scale and it bumped into the toilet. I heard an explosion, and the glass blew all over the bathroom floor, even out into the hall past the open bathroom door. By the way, I did not bump this with much force. I wasn’t running – more like shuffling. The noise was so loud, I was certain that somehow it was the toilet that cracked or blew a hole in it.
This scale is beautiful. It’s always worked. It seems accurate to me. But…
Both of my feet are bleeding on top of both my feet from shards so small, I don’t even know where they went. Both wounds look like pinholes, but you should have seen the blood gush. I’m sure I swept up most of the glass, but anything I missed will turn up in the next couple of days… in my feet!
Small and large chunks of crystalized glass are all over the place. I even took a couple of pictures in case anyone is interested. The entire top plate is exploded and the underlying plastic is in pieces, too, with wires dangling.
So, who is the maniac that designed this thing? It is dangerous if you have children, and it is dangerous for the elderly. It’s also dangerous if you rely on a blood supply. I bought this for my father to use as he’s 85 years old, and his weight changes are critical. Fortunately, he’s in the hospital now, so at least he’s safe from this thing!
I heartily recommend this product unless safety is a concern. Think I’ll buy another? Are ya nuts???!!!

Almost the same basic characteristics than previous versions of Microsoft Windows, some improvements, and I hope I won’t confront the rejections and troubles created by Windows Vista. XP was fantastic.
Hope Microsoft learned the lesson.
In my opinion, the hype is all this book has. I have spent my life reading most of the classics, along with best sellers, biographies, etc. I stopped counting when I got to 10,000 books read, about 13 years ago, so I consider myself to be a book connoisseur. This Catcher in the Rye is one book I wish I never read. Actually I didn’t even bother to finish it, because it is such a waste of paper and time. If you want to read a great coming of age book, read A Separate Peace or A Prayer for Owen Meany. If you want to read about a real hero, read The Real George Washington.

We like this door and it does seem to work well, but be advised that the template we got with the large size door was apparently sized only against the flap opening itself, and was not large enough to accommodate the entire insert frame of the dog door. We had to cut an extra two inches out of the bottom of the kitchen door to make it fit. Luckily, we had some space to work with. My husband is a mechanic and carpenter and knows what he’s doing, so it’s not like he can’t read plans and attacked this job with a pair of salad tongs and a nail file. The paper template shows that the outside edge of the template is to be used when cutting the opening for the large door, but again, be aware that you’re going to need more space than that to make the assembled frame fit. Also, the thermal flap does not attach and detach quickly. If you’re going to use the thermal flap only in the winter and leave it off during the summer, you’ll have to take the outside face off the dog door, unscrew the thermal flap, and reassemble the plastic face again twice a year.

I purchased the Garmin Forerunner 305 just last week and have had a chance to use it everyday this week. It is exactly what I expected and more. For starters, let me tell you I am a beginner so I can not verify that all of the data collected (pace, distance, hr) are accurate, but they seem pretty close to me. I jog around a lake and I did a google map point to point search and found the Garmin distance was within .2 miles of what Google maps told me. As stated earlier, I am not a beginner. My short term goal is to work my way up to running nonstop for half an hour and work my way up from there. I hope to accomplish this through interval training doing the run/walk method. Guess what?…. You can actually set the Garmin to beep after certain distances or time to let you know you are now in the next interval. I don’t even have to look at the watch… just wait for the beeps. Its incredible. The heart rate monitor seems pretty accurate. Sometimes, I will stop to check pulse and it seems like the Garmin is always within 5 beats of my physical check. Just make sure you have the strap on right side up. One day I had it on upside down and my numbers seemed a little skewed. I love the fact that I can customize what information needs to be displayed on each of the screens. Since I use the interval feature, the first screen will contain information about the lap…number and remaining time. The second screen, I have customized to include additional information about that lap, and the last screen has info about the overall total. I have a whole other screed which I don’t use! Overall, I think its a great product which will give you a wealth of information whether your the beginner or ultra marathoner.
The software that came with the unit is a bit limited. I really have not found a use for it and the map functionality could use an update. I subscribed to the GarminConnect site which was a little bit better but not the best. The good thing about it is you
