This was a simple story but for some reason it kept my interest. I put it off for a year or so, despite many recommendations by others. I just kept thinking “oh, another story about slaves from their perspective”. But it was written in such a wonderful way that my interest was piqued in the first few chapters and I was hooked. A book you will NOT regret reading. Which can not be said for many that are on the bestseller list. Look at the review proportions (mostly fives) compared to other so called best sellers. Also, this has staying power on the bestseller list. Enjoy!

I know people are going to show up at my house with pitch forks, but I really wasn’t into this book. The idea of someone constantly watching me, even when I’m sleeping, is not love to me but stalking. I also found the story rather predictable.

Sweet, cute and lots of laughs. From practical tips to comforting support, this book is wonderful! The author has a way of putting things into perspective, reminding us to appreciate the simple joys of being a parent. She points out the positive side some of us miss as we’re struggling through the day (or night)! Uplifting, encouraging words keep us going. It made me feel like I’m already a great mom yet inspired me with new ideas and advice. A perfect gift for new moms – all moms as a matter of fact – shower gift, mother’s day, birthday.

This is an amazing tool for grooming our dog, and cats too! We just adjust the pressure on the different pets – labrador retriever, short hair cat and long hair cat. The pets seem to really like it and they look great afterward. The amount of loose fur that comes off was a surprise to me even after reading so many reviews.

After reading some reviews I did go to Consumer Reports and it is the highest recommended pedometer. It is easy to use and comfortable. I love the safety clip!

Bought the unit Christmas last year. Family has played it maybe 20-30 hours and now disc failure.
Ta Da! In to the shop for repairs. The cost is not outrageous just disappointed that for $500.00 bucks in unit and games
and accessories this is the disc life on this one.
I know it’s an inexpensive console but we’re not talking Xbox 360 either. Just a simple format player.
I’m just saying…

I love my Kindle. It is absolutely my favorite electronics toy that I own. I haven’t written a review on it just because I didn’t see the need with everyone else writing reviews, but I’m breaking down and joining the ranks because I love it that much.
I initially owned the original Kindle 1, but due to my own stupidity, I broke it by stepping on it. Needless to say that within minutes I was already missing it. I took some time to figure out if I wanted another Kindle (I did not get the extended warranty for it) or if I would switch to a Nook or some other ereader. After checking out the others and testing them out in the stores, I decided to stick with the Kindle. I bought the new Kindle 2 with the global wireless. After thinking about it for a while, I really wanted to try and fix my old Kindle, too…I ended up calling Amazon and they replaced my old one with a refurbished one for $99, which seemed like a good deal to me–I just had to send the old one back.
So, now I have 2 Kindles, but I pretty much stick with the K2 because I like the button positions better (no more accidentally paging forward if I lean the kindle into myself as I stop to chat with my husband) and I like how thin and light it is. I use it for hours nearly every day. I am an avid reader and read about 2-3 books per week. Not all on the kindle, but I would say about 50% of my reading is now on the Kindle. I love the e-ink technology and it puts no strain on my eyes. I bought the extended warranty for the new Kindle, so if anything happens to it, I’m covered this time.
My small issues with it revolve around the file types it accepts. I really wish that I could use epub files on it since that is what my library uses. I also belong to a website that will email books to the Kindle, but they are in .pdf format. They do not convert on arrival to the Kindle, so I am stuck with just the .pdf file, when I would prefer it to be like a regular ebook. The website won’t let me mail

This book is EFFIN BRILLIANT!
Much too long – but not the author’s fault- the editors should have done their job! But as far as the story, the writing and the characters- B R I L L I A N T!!!!!!!!!!!

I enjoyed this first book in a Harry Potter-sortof way. It’s good, fun escapism. What I like is how the tempo of the book changes from criminal drama to comedy to fantasy to spy novel, etc, etc… Initially, you aren’t really sure what is going on, but eventually the young anti-hero idea catches on and becomes a very entertaining narrative. Nathaniel Parker provides a fantastic narration, reminiscent of Jim Dale’s excellent characterization for the Potter audio books.
Having finished the first couple books, I’m led to think of the first two books almost as a continuous story, with many of the same characters recurring.
Worth checking out.
Walking In The Light
I had a very old and bulky machine. This new one works well and cleans very good. The only problem we had is when it is out of cleaner/fluid it just doesnt’ clean anymore. We couldn’t tell when it needs more fluid easily.
