I have started wit eBook-Readers quite a couple of years ago with Sony. After quite a long time of suffering with the stupidity of Sony’s engineers I changed to a Nook. Unfortunately, not a wise decision as I live in Switzerland and don’t have access to the shops on the nook – actually not even through the internet on my computer.
Now I have the new Kindle 3 – and I can tell, this is by far the best I of them. Not only it’s compact size but also the fast response of the screen and of course the shop that is constantly available whereever I am (Europe or Overseas).
Guys, don’t repeat what I did and go straight to the Kindle – it’s an absolute pleasure to use it.

I waited a long time to jump on the Apple bandwagon, and while the issue remains that I think it’s silly that I would need software (iTunes or something similar) to transfer music I already own on my computer to my iPod, when in all reality I should simply be able to drag and drop the files into their respective spots, I am THRILLED with this device! It does everything the Iphone does except make phone calls (and who wants to call someone when I can just text them or throw them an email from my iPod?) It was sent quickly, had a great price, and, after the hassle I went through with [...] (I will NEVER shop there again), Amazon’s headache-free shopping experience was JUST what I needed.

I feel duped by these reviews. This book would be perfect for my 11 year old cousin, but is by no means a great book for all ages as these reviews would indicate. It is very slapstick and dorky. You could read the whole thing in a day and forget it even sooner. Also, Artemis Fowl is a punk.
